This is an old established, urban practice, with
about 14,000 patients, six full time and one part
time partners, operating from a converted Edwardian
family house (the home of the original founder of
the practice), in central Middlesbrough.
The premises were extensively converted in 1990 and
again in 1997. It is fully computerised.
The practice has been involved in vocational
training in Teesside since 1974. One partner does
dermatology sessions, another does minor surgery
sessions within the practice. The practice has
attachments with local industry and has also been
involved in undergraduate medical education.
Dr Wood completed his vocational training on the
Cleveland Scheme and two of the other partners are
also ex-Cleveland Scheme registrars.This
