What do we offer?

• General Practice attachment in the first year of programme
• 12 months General Practice in the final year
• A wide variety of practices and posts
• Half day release throughout your time on the Scheme, including hospital posts
• Six months in hospital giving greater flexibility to programme design; we believe this results in greater experience than from shorter attachments
• A Scheme Forum for your views
• Excellent administrative support
• Regular reviews of all GP and hospital posts on the Scheme
• We are based at Durham University, Queens Campus, Stockton allowing excellent library and academic contacts
• The opportunity to apply for a one year academic post
• Excellent feedback in the last National PMETB Trainee Survey (now GMC).
  The 2010 survey is currently in progress.
